Rouge

Yesterday I was went to Marta´s house who wants to make a show about the letters of Rosa Luxumberg. She wanted some photos of women she knew wearing red and would like to work with on the project. My Portuguese means I don´t know exactly what this entails, but it feels like a big hug of acceptance here, to be in a group of exciting people that like my company. I was surprised to find even though red´s my favourite colour, I had not packed anything red! So an hour before I had to leave I painted the Folha de Sâo Paulo, taped it together and stapled the sides. And hey presto! One red dress. It´s very easy to do, just lie on top of the paper, draw around yourself with a pencil to check the size and you´re away!
