When I first arrived in Brazil I wanted to walk around the place in wonder and awe. I felt like this:

But it´s a sure fire way to get into trouble, wherever you are. My advice is if you´re alone in a city on a street, you need to walk like you´ve just killed a man, and are on your way to sort another one out. A bit like this:
